A measurement is required at each end of a monitored line section. Recommended maximum section length is 25-35 miles (40-56 km). Longer sections (over 100 miles) can be monitored when reduced sensitivity is acceptable.

Locator™ uses the same measurements as PPA™ which may be pressure, flow, or a combination. Best results are obtained when the same measurement type and instruments are used at each end.

Location is determined within minutes of detection at both ends. You may begin shutting in as soon as the leak is detected at both ends.
